5G and car to suspected drug dealers2015-Jan-11

5G and car to suspected drug dealers

TORONTO New court documents released Wednesday suggest Toronto John Kuhn Jersey Mayor Rob Ford may have offered $5,000 and a car to suspected drug dealers in exchange for a video that appears to show him smoking crack.

The information is contained in police wiretaps of alleged gang members who spoke about delivering drugs to Ford and having pictures of him using drugs. One alleged gang member is heard telling another that he rejected the offer for the tape and planned to meet the mayor and ask for "150," meaning $150,000.

On one wire tape on April 20, an alleged gang member is heard saying, "Rob Ford was smoking his rocks today" and that he would post a Clay Matthews Womens Jersey picture on Instagram.

On Wednesday, a smiling Ford laughed and ignored questions as he left his office.

Ford, who's become an international media sensation, acknowledged last month that he smoked crack in a "drunken stupor" about a year ago. He previously denied the existence of the video.

Ford has refused to resign as mayor of Canada's largest city and financial capital, despite mounting pressure after a string of incidents that have embarrassed Canadians, from public drunkenness to appearing in another video that showed him threatening "murder" in an incoherent rant. Toronto's city council has stripped him www.packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Aaron-Rodgers-Jersey.html of most of his powers.

Ford admitted that he smoked crack after police said they had obtained a video that appears to show him puffing on a crack pipe as part of an investigation into his friend Alexander Lisi.

The newly released court documents say police heard on the wiretaps that Ford had his phone stolen or lost it at a home they John Kuhn Kids Jersey believe to be a crack house and that Lisi was trying to get it back.

Police say they overheard that Lisi threatened to "put the heat on" the gang if he didn't get Ford's phone back and that the alleged gang members said they will not tolerate Lisi's threats because they had a picture of Ford "on a pipe," which police believed meant a crack pipe.

Police say Lisi gave the men marijuana in exchange for the return of the mayor's phone.

City councilor Joe Mihevc said police need to examine the allegations that Ford tried to obtain the tape.

"The mayor can't come out and say, "I'm packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Aj-Hawk-Jersey.html sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry,'" Mihevc said. "This man needs help. He needs a lot of help."

Toronto Police Bill Blair declined to comment on the newly released documents. The wiretaps are evidence in the case against Lisi, who faces trial on drug and extortion charges. The mayor has not been charged.

"We conducted an investigation that needed to be done," Blair said.

Police were in the midst of a drug and weapons investigation involving alleged gang members when the mayor's name surfaced on wiretaps in March and April.

The city council, lacking a way to oust Ford from office unless he's convicted of a crime and jailed, voted overwhelmingly last month to slash the mayor's office budget by 60 percent and allow his staff Clay Matthews Kids Jersey to join the deputy mayor.

Ford says he has quit drinking and adopted a healthier lifestyle. And he's not avoiding the spotlight. He's agreed to appear on a Washington based sports talk show to make NFL picks.

New study unmasks fibromyalgia2015-Jan-11

New study unmasks fibromyalgia

When the Atlanta Falcons Tim Green retired cheap evening dresses online in 1994, he wrote in his book, The Dark Side of the Game, cheap wedding dresses about all the burners and stingers he had to deal with that searing nerve pain in the shoulders, neck and arms.

But we don think he any tougher than the 5 million cheap wedding dresses online North Americans with fibromyalgia an often devastating condition that triggers a variety of symptoms, including chronic pain, tingling in fingers and toes and fatigue who go out every day to make sure their nerve pain doesn keep them sidelined from life.

No one is sure what causes fibromyalgia, and effective ways to ease symptoms have been hard to come by until now. A small but carefully done study recently revealed that almost half of folks diagnosed with fibromyalgia actually may have something called small fibre polyneuropathy that is, damage to peripheral nerves. So talk to your doctor about a referral to a neurologist to rule SFPN in or out. It could be a game changer.

NFL Week 2 picks and predictions2015-Jan-11

NFL Week 2 picks and predictions

Seven of 12 playoff teams from 2009 were losers on opening weekend, while two of the league five worst teams from a year ago the Chiefs and Redskins beat defending division champions. The Seahawks, a squad everyone said would struggle immensely in Year 1 of the Pete Carroll era, flat out embarrassed a 49ers team that the media already crowned as the 2010 NFC West champions back in July. Eleven of the 16 games played in Week 1 were decided by seven points or less, an NFL opening weekend record. What can we expect in Week 2?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Kansas City at Cleveland: How about those Chiefs rookies? In Week 1 dramatic, rain soaked 21 14 victory over San Diego, bite size former SEC stars Dexter McCluster and Javier Arenas each had big punt returns, fifth overall selection Eric Berry laid the wood at safety, and tight end Tony Moeaki caught a touchdown pass. As for the Browns? Well, they squandered a late fourth quarter lead and lost to an absolutely mediocre Bucs team. I guess some things never change. Romeo Crennel returns to the Dawg Pound on Sunday and leaves as a victor. Eric Mangini's seat suddenly gets a little warmer.

The Pick: Chiefs 27, Browns 16

Tampa Bay at Carolina: Though the Bucs roster features just three players over the age of 30, the Panthers are actually the league youngest team. The Buccaneers' roster averages 26 years. Carolina's average age is 25 years, 233 days, according to STATS LLC. And that with ancient kicker John Kasay 41 years of age factored in. I can hear Dick Stockton voice now, Team Blue Clues vs. Team Backyardigans, coming up next on FOX! Give me the home team in this one, led on defense by the player who may end up being the steal of the 2010 NFL Draft, sixth round pick Greg Hardy. In his first career packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Randall-Cobb-Jersey.html game last Sunday against the Giants, the former Ole Miss star had four tackles, blocked a punt and recovered a fumble. Expect plenty more of that this season if and with his history, it a big if he stays healthy.

The Pick: Panthers 17, Buccaneers 13

Chicago at Dallas: Seemingly every talking head on TV, radio and Twitter took their shots at Alex Barron on Sunday night following the Cowboys 13 7 loss in Washington. Sure, Barron committed three holding penalties in the final 31 minutes, and yes, he's the most penalized player since 2005. But if Barron doesn commit that last penalty, Romo gets sacked, possibly injured and there no game winning pass attempt at all. Without that hold, Jon Kitna quite possibly your Week 2 Cowboys quarterback!

It pains me to hear that Barron felt the need to apologize to Roy Williams on the team plane after the game. Where was $3 million man Jason Garrett apologizing to Cowboys Nation for an offensive game plan that netted just 7 points? Where was kicker David Buehler apologizing to the state of Texas for missing a chippy 34 yarder? Where was Tony Romo apologizing for dumping a 2 yard pass off to Tashard Choice with four seconds left on the clock in the second quarter when taking a knee would have been sufficient? And while we're at it, where was Jerry Jones apologizing to Cowboys Nation for drafting Dez Bryant, a receiver on a team already loaded with receivers, over Rams opening day starting offensive tackle Rodger Saffold in April draft?

Alex Barron didn play well Sunday night, but he didn deserve the slaying he received from the media hounds and Cowboys fans after the game. I think Dallas regroups and finds a way at home on Sunday, and Garrett has Romo take a knee the next time there four seconds on the clock and more than 50 yards to go before the half.

The Pick: Cowboys 27, Bears 17

Philadelphia at Detroit: Though they tend to get a bad rap (Booing Santa? What so wrong with that? C'mon, he had a bad year!), you gotta love Eagles fans. We less than seven days into The Kevin Kolb era in Philly, and they already want it to be over. Can you blame them? In relief of an injured Kolb on Sunday, Michael Vick rushed 11 times for 103 yards, completed 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards and finished with a 101.9 passer rating in just two and half quarters of action. Let the controversy begin. As for Lions fans? Well, it's hard not to feel at least a little bad for them. Detroit now 3 30 in their last 33 games and haven won a road game since the G Dubbya Bush regime was in office. Losing on a peculiar (even if it was right) call like the one that decided Sunday game has to be devastating. And anytime you see the name of your franchise quarterback and the name Dr. James Andrews scrolling next to each other on a sports ticker, you know you in for another looooooong season.

Arizona at Atlanta: How about everyone sexy Super Bowl pick of the summer, the 2010 Atlanta Falcons? In Week 1 15 9 overtime loss in Pittsburgh, Matt Ryan after a summer of watching thousands of hours of game film struggled to throw the ball more than 10 yards. Michael Turner, finally healthy and several pounds lighter than the bloated version we saw last season, averaged just 2.2 yards per carry. And Tony Gonzalez he of 1,001 career catches and zero career playoff wins only caught two balls. Look for the Falcons offense to get cured this weekend with a much needed win over Arizona on Sunday. If they don it could mean panic mode down in Flowery Branch.

The Pick: Falcons 24, Cardinals 16

Pittsburgh at Tennessee: Talk about a team of beauties versus a team of beasts. The Titans won in gorgeous fashion last Sunday, gashing the Raiders on the ground and through the air in a spectacular display of football brilliance. The Steelers, meanwhile, won in about as hideous a fashion as you ever see. Hey, fans of both teams will take it. A win is a win. The Titans avenge their Week 1 overtime loss in Pittsburgh from last season with a grind it Tramon Williams Jersey out win over Mike Tomlin boys on Sunday. The Oregon Ducks came into Tennessee and gave the state college squad a mauling last Saturday evening. Dennis Dixon, arguably the greatest Ducks quarterback not named Van Brocklin or Fouts, won do the same on his trip to the Volunteer State this weekend.

The Pick: Titans 26, Steelers 20

Buffalo at Green Bay: Clay Matthews looked like a man possessed Sunday, leading the Packers defense with two sacks, a forced fumble, seven tackles and a game sealing stuffing of Michael Vick on fourth and short. Apparently, the MMA training he did with Jay Glazer over the summer helped the second year linebacker immensely. Though the MMA stuff intimidates me a bit (too many guys in Ed Hardy shirts with mean looking dragons on them), the workout regimen has done wonders for defensive stars Patrick Willis, Jarred Allen and Matthews. Hawk should look into it next summer. Though healthy, the former No.5 overall pick didn play a single snap on defense all afternoon. Nickel package or not, Hawk needs to contribute more to the Packers than just special teams work. With Hawk on the field of not, Green Bay has its way with the woeful Tramon Williams Green Jersey Bills on Sunday.

The Pick: Jordy Nelson Kids Jersey Packers 34, Bills 13

Miami at Minnesota: Who cares about Favre vs. the Packers? Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the Greg Camarillo Bowl! Camarillo, the former Dolphin wideout who was traded to Minnesota just a week prior to the start of the season, is all amped up to play his former team Sunday.

"What more could you ask for? From the minute I got traded, I've been thinking about this," Camarillo told the AP this week. He then added, "Last week, how the whole team felt about the Saints and wanting to get their second swing at them, that's how I feel about the Dolphins. It's all my friends. No ill will toward the team, but I want to come out there and kick their Well, you get the rest. Alas, it won be easy.

Miami linebackers Cameron Wake and Koa Misi had Dolphins fans asking Taylor, who? with one sack apiece and tremendous rush defense from the outside in last Sunday 15 10 victory over the Bills. Karlos Dansby was an absolute beast in the middle. Give me Camarillo and his Vikings in a close one against his old buddies up in Minny this weekend

The Pick: Vikings 23, Dolphins 21

Baltimore at Cincinnati: You could hear the Ravens fans chanting across the Hudson and in Manhattan on Monday night as the Baltimore offense did just enough to escape New Jersey with a 10 9 win over the NFL top defense from a year ago. I see Sunday test, surprisingly enough, being far more difficult for the boys in purple. Baltimore dropped both games to the Bengals last year, and the Cincinnati passing attack is a lot more dangerous than whatever the Jets trotted out on to the field in Week 1. Look for Bengals rookie wideout Jordan Shipley to have a big afternoon and for Batman and Robin to do some damage on Baltimore inferior cornerbacks. Gimme the home underdogs in another tight one.

The Pick: Bengals 24, Ravens 20

Seattle at Denver: The Tim Tebow era started with a bit of a thud, didn it? 2 carries, 2 yards. No goal line carries. No crazy jump passes. No dramatic fist pumps. No walking on water. Yawn. C McDaniels, get creative here! Use the kid! The start of the Pete Carroll era, on the other hand, was a rousing success. The Seahawks outmanned and outplayed the division favorite Niners from start to finish, and Matt Hasselbeck looked as agile and athletic as he has in years. Dating back to last year, Denver lost nine of their last 11 games. Gimme the new look Seahawks in a late afternoon road upset.

The Pick: Seahawks 20, Broncos 16

St. Louis at Oakland: Remember when these two teams played in Los Angeles? Seems like it was ages ago now, doesn it? Remember when these two teams were actually worth watching? Well, that seems like it was back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The Raiders gave up 205 rushing yards in their season opening loss in Tennessee, while the Rams though much improved at the quarterback spot lost their 50th of 56 games on Sunday. Oakland D finds itself in Week 2 with a much needed statement win. Darren McFadden has another big day.

Houston at Washington: To say the Texans and Redskins share some coaching ties would be a bit of an understatement. Houston head coach Gary Kubiak Jordy Nelson Green Jersey formerly served as the offensive coordinator for the Broncos under current Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan. Shanahan, of course, also coached Kubiak, a one time Broncos backup quarterback. Shanahan son, Kyle, the Redskins offensive coordinator, served on Kubiak's Texans staff for four seasons, including last year as their offensive coordinator. There more. quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur, assistant special teams coach Richard Hightower and strength and conditioning coach Ray Wright all used to work for the Texans, while Houston defensive coordinator Frank Bush coached the linebackers for Shanahan in Denver. Tony Wyllie, Redskins senior vice president, was a vice president with Houston. And then there Rex Grossman the backup quarterback in Washington who many credited as one of the major reasons Matt Schaub had the breakout 2009 campaign that he had last season in Houston. Got all that? I take the pupil and his 231 yard running back over the master and his questionable offense in this one.

Jacksonville at San Diego: As Dexter McCluster and Javier Arenas spent the entire evening carving up San Diego special teams Monday night, I kept saying to myself, these guys sure could use a guy like Kassim Osgood on punt coverage. Alas, the Chargers let their three time Pro Bowl special teams ace walk in the offseason, as the former San Diego State star signed with Jacksonville because of an opportunity to play some wide receiver an opportunity that wasn an option in San Diego. In his first game as a Jaguar, Osgood not only scored his first touchdown in six years, but he was all over the field in special http://www.packersnflofficial.com/Nike-Eddie-Lacy-Jersey.html teams coverage. Going back to San Diego this weekend, he the feel good story of the week. Unfortunately, his Jaguars will come up short.

Tony Dorsett diagnosed with signs of CTE

Tony Dorsett, the Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame running back, received the news he suspected was coming on Monday.

"It hit me like a ton of bricks," he told the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday, confirming a report by ESPN the Lines cheap nfl jerseys that tests at UCLA show he has signs of chronic encephalopathy, the degenerative brain disease that has been linked to head trauma, depression, dementia and suicide in former NFL players.

Hall of Fame offensive lineman Joe DeLamielleure and former All Pro defensive lineman Leonard Marshall received the news from researchers after having brain scans and cheap nfl jerseys clinical evaluations at UCLA. "Don't ask me what tau protein is because I don't know exactly what it all is," Dorsett said. "All I know is that before, [doctors] could only be able to find tau if you die first and they open up your brains."

Dorsett was part of the recent $765 million settlement between the NFL and more than 4,500 former players. Powers Washington Past Chicago VIDEO2015-Jan-11

Powers Washington Past Chicago VIDEO

LANDOVER, Md. LANDOVER, Md. (AP) The Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins moved the ball in the second half as if it were a game of 7 on 7, with Josh McCown shaking off two seasons of regular season inactivity while trying to keep pace with Robert Griffin III.

It was one of those games where the last team that scores comes away the winner. It turned out to be the Redskins, who got a third touchdown Cheap Jerseys from Roy Helu with 45 second to play Sunday for a 45 41 win.

Griffin completed 18 of 29 passes for 298 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for the Redskins (2 4), who have both of their wins against backup quarterbacks. This time is was McCown, who entered in the second quarter after Jay Cutler left with a groin injury.

Griffin also ran 11 times for a season high 84 yards against a Bears defense depleted by injuries, but the breakout performance came from rookie tight end Jordan Reed, who caught nine passes for 134 yards and one touchdown.

McCown, playing in a regular season game for the first time since the 2011 season, completed 14 of 20 passes for 204 yards with one touchdown. Matt Forte rushed for three touchdowns, Alshon Jeffrey had 105 yards receiving, and Devin Hester tied Deion Sanders' NFL record for return touchdowns with an 81 yard put runback for the Bears (4 3).

The Redskins started their final drive with 3:57 to play and trailing by three. Milking the clock, they converted three third downs including a 10 yard pass to Reed on third and 4 inside the 20 before Helu's 3 yard run put Washington ahead for good.

Forte's third touchdown a 6 yard run up the middle tied the score at 31 early in the fourth quarter, but the Redskins went back ahead less than two minutes later when Griffin threw deep to Aldrick Robinson, who snagged a 45 yard touchdown catch while defensive backs Charles Tillman and Chris Conte were tumbling to the turf.

Then it was the Bears' turn, although a couple of Redskins blitzes disrupted McCown enough to force a field goal instead of a touchdown. Robbie Gould's 49 yard cut Washington's lead to 38 34 with 8:39 to play.

The Bears tried an onside kick and recovered the ball, but they were ruled offsides and kicked deep on their second kickoff attempt.

In the first half, Griffin, who threw only five interceptions Cheap Jerseys From China last season when he was the NFL's offensive rookie of the year, was picked off for the sixth time in 2013 when Tillman stepped in front of Leonard Hankerson and returned the ball to Washington's 10 yard line. Forte scored two plays later to give the Bears a 10 3 lead.

The Redskins tied it on Helu's 14 yard run, giving the team just its second first half offensive touchdown this season. Washington then took the lead when Jeffrey juggled a high pass from Cutler until the ball popped into the hands of linebacker Brian Orakpo, who returned his first career interception 29 yards for his first career touchdown.

Cutler was injured when he was brought down early in the second quarter on the first career sack by 333 pound nose tackle Chris Baker. Cutler clutched at the top of his left leg and limped off the field.

McCown looked understandably rusty in his first few plays, but Hester was there to restore some Bears momentum with his big punt return. It was his 19th career return touchdown and the third special teams touchdown allowed by the Redskins in three games.

Reed's 3 yard touchdown catch with 27 seconds remaining in the first half put the Redskins ahead 24 17, their first halftime lead of the season.

The teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter, with Forte making a nice stutter move on a 50 yard run, and Helu scoring from 3 yards out.
